If you are ready to:

• Work with people of different religious beliefs. Remember that you are coming to a place where the history of Christianity predates that of yours, AD 52. Do not come with any conversion intentions.
• You are ready for constant questions, attention, and affection.
• Become more dependent on others.
• Have spicy food, though it need not be hot.
• Suffer hot and humid weather during March, April and May.
• Live in a culture that places less emphasis on scheduling.
